Quitting Whitney is an LA based rock duo. The band’s music is an eclectic mix of electro-rock, hip hop, and indie; predominantly influenced by other legendary duos like Lewis del Mar, MGMT, and the Black Keys. Matt Rucker is an experienced studio and live sound engineer; he is the songwriter and producer behind Quitting Whitney’s studio tracks. Ryan Linderman is an expert of all things percussion, a veteran of Warped Tour, and the second half of Quitting Whitney. Together, the duo’s live shows create an exciting energy which mixes the live feel of acoustic drums and electric guitar with thumping bass, powerful 808s, and hard hitting synth.
