Qurio is a studio band at the moment. Intent on creating interesting, provocative prog rock music in a variety of different styles and themes. Working out of Dave’s attic, Qurio attempts to create immersive tracks that not only tell a story, but contain deeper themes and references. On the one year anniversary of the band’s formation, Qurio released their first ‘studio’ album, Radio Wonderland.
Radio Wonderland is Qurio’s take on the Alice in Wonderland/Through The Looking-Glass And What Alice Found There story. It is a high concept album in the style of a radio show that has been warped through the imagination of the sleeping Alice. Each track is designed to represent a different style of music, primarily rock music, and reflect a character; or poem; or story from the original Alice stories.
