R o n i a writes music like assembling a shadow play: sparse, intimate, hand-built. Every song a little scene, every detail crafted — from lyrics to artwork to the costumes in her videos. Her sound lives in the in-between: not quite pop, not quite folk, something strange and softly theatrical.
The upcoming album tide over, made with composer Thelema, drifts through floods and quiet rebirths. It comes as a vinyl you have to complete yourself — with cut-out sea creatures, waves and a handmade sun-lamp above the water. Nothing here is ready-made. Everyone finishes the world with their own hands.
