R. Rose (Also known as "House") is a DMV (DC, MD, VA) Native, born in Washington DC and raised in Prince George’s County Maryland. Influenced by artists like Drake, J.Cole, 6Lack, Travis Scott, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Eli Sostre, he is a Lyricist/Songwriter/vocalist emerging onto the music scene with an energetic yet somber, both upbeat and mellow, eclectic and edgy style of music. While his main genre is Rap and Alternative Hip Hop, he also has experience in creating Hip Hop Soul, and Contemporary and Alternative R&B. He is a graduate of Frostburg State University with a B.A in Fine Arts where he studied Graphic Design and Audio Engineering. He’s performed all over the DMV area on popular platforms such as OpenGem, WickedBloom and JoyClub. He's performed in some of FSU's biggest events, in front of crowds ranging from 100-500+ . He is currently working on his Debut album titled “Aqua Blue Nights" which is projected to release late summer/early fall 2020.
