Rahim Mbake is a Switzerland based rapper, singer, songwriter of Kenyan and Swiss Origin.
Influenced by his father DJ Buff who was a Nairobi clublegend in the 80‘s and 90‘s, R4heem very early got in touch with all sorts of black music and fell in love with Hip-Hop, Reggae and African music at a young age already.
He began writing down his own lyrics and rhymes in English and German at the age of 15. However his enjoyment of listening to music, getting inspired and developing his style took some years before he decided to publish his own music.
His 3rd single „Kontrol Dat“ will be out very soon and will give u sweat dancehall vibes during the depression of lockdown.
R4heem‘s music can not be placed in a single genre. It‘s more a dynamic mix of dancehall, afrobeats, rnb often loaded with rapped bars and heavily inspired by the UK and Dutch afroswing movement.
