The Finnish wilderness—twilight skies, endless forests, and still lakes—shapes RA-UL, the creative alias of multi-instrumentalist, producer and field recordist Lauri Heiskanen. His music, born from these landscapes, invites listeners to linger in serene moments where time feels suspended and life’s rush fades.
RA-UL’s compositions, blending analog synthesizers, instruments and nature’s sounds, reflect the fragile beauty of the natural world. Beyond the music, RA-UL supports the wilderness he draws inspiration from. As a WWF Partner in Conservation, he donates a fixed proportion of income to environmental causes. In 2024, over 60% of combined profit from RA-UL and Linnunrata Productions was directed to nature conservation.
