Rafaël Smit (2002) or better known as Raaf, is a Dutch musician and producer currently based in the city of Rotterdam (NL). Rafaël has been making music since an age of 10, but he already produced his first bedroom recorded albums as a teen. After his first self produced (mostly Dutch spoken) cassette tapes and performances under his alias <a href="spotify:artist:6WY2fkw9NlR9zZj8mbBwmd" data-name="Flashkid">Flashkid</a> and his self produced debut album under his alias <a href="spotify:artist:55dCCJL7MWXniQR8Pz6Q3j" data-name="Raaf">Raaf</a> called "Ugly songs for Ugly people" (2019), Rafaël got a request to produce a song for his friend <a href="spotify:artist:6sEKgslks7M2M0n4oYmLXA" data-name="Simeon">Simeon</a> . Later this request became the song "Walks" (2020), and it got added to the RnB editorial playlist "Butter" by Spotify. After these productions, and during the COVID period, Rafaël continued making electronic and underground music under names such as <a href="spotify:artist:3AnZBsKFNNh9marZtWyRzy" data-name="Xenotronic">Xenotronic</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5sKLdhf6S29OKqiKgLq18C" data-name="Kanker Wankers">Kanker Wankers</a>. In the mean time, Rafaël is playing local nightclubs and he takes his time in the studio to develop his "<a href="spotify:artist:55dCCJL7MWXniQR8Pz6Q3j" data-name="Raaf">Raaf</a> sound" to a new level.
