"Rabbit Island has made me cry more times than funerals. I don’t know if that’s testament to how many shows I’ve seen or how effecting the performance is. I listened to ‘Deep In The Big’ while walking the Bibbulmun track. I cried. It moved with the birds and the trees and the little streams and made me think that it was probably a good idea to jump in water naked. That’s what this music does; it flows with the curves of The Big into shapes and sounds that might be called the Fibonacci sequence 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34 or might be or the eternal flow of consciousness. It is very hard to give Rabbit Island's music a genre. It feels an immoral sleight of pen-so lets go hyphen crazy and say ambient-psych-folk."
