"Born in Ottawa Canada, rachad is an artist/songwriter whose sound lives in the different realms of R'n'B. Although the foundation of his songwriting lies in his Canadian roots (think The Weeknd, Partynextdoor, Tory Lanez, etc.), rachad draws inspiration from many ecclectic genres. From Progressive and Psychedelic Rock legends Pink Floyd and The Doors, to more electronic soundscapes from artists like Lido and Dillon Francis; he lets his experience from engaging with these other genres to seap into the production and writing of his own music. rachad has developed his style by bending the traditional rules of R'n'B, and morphing into something exciting and new.

Living in Sydney Australia, rachad began developing as an artist at a studio in Sydney named db.music (i.amsolo, B Wise, Manu Crooks, etc.). Here is where he met producer i.amsolo and Klapback, who helped developed rachad's debut single "Best Friend," released late-2017. Since then, rachad has spent years developing his artistry and songwriting from his current studio in South-West Sydney. The result of which, is now ready to be shared with the rest of the world.
