Rachel Bearinger is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her music draws from her roots recording piano improvisations and singing stories into a Sony tape recorder while growing up in rural Iowa. Blending elements of contemporary folk, classical, and jazz, she finds inspiration from the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:5c3GLXai8YOMid29ZEuR9y" data-name="Nick Drake">Nick Drake</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3z6Gk257P9jNcZbBXJNX5i" data-name="Regina Spektor">Regina Spektor</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2sG4zTOLvjKG1PSoOyf5Ej" data-name="Brandi Carlile">Brandi Carlile</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6xrCU6zdcSTsG2hLrojpmI" data-name="José González">José González</a>. In 2019, she released her debut full-length album, “Spirals”, the result of a fruitful collaboration with composer, producer, and percussionist <a href="spotify:artist:3xB80LlkKdATNz0FulqCSB" data-name="Patrick Cunningham">Patrick Cunningham</a> and many dear friends from her time at the University of Northern Iowa School of Music.
