After writing her eight-song debut record “The Next Big Invention” in her bedroom, Montreal-based singer-songwriter Rachel Dara traveled across Canada to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to have her live-style album produced by Grammy-award winning Mark Howard. Mark chose to work with such a young artist because of her insight into life itself which reminded him of another famed folk artist he worked with… “Her writing and style is far more mature than her age, she has a feel and sound like <a href="spotify:artist:5hW4L92KnC6dX9t7tYM4Ve" data-name="Joni Mitchell">Joni Mitchell</a>.” In 2023 Rachel Dara received ISSA’s “International Female Rising Star” award and was announced as a silver award winner for “International Female Music Video of the Year”.
