Born on the 25th August 2002, Rachel Lowell is a singer/songwriter who at a relatively young started studying music theory, and voice.
From 2016 onwards, Rachel had the opportunity to take part in the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest, L-Għanja tal-Poplu Żgħażagħ, L-Għanja tal-Poplu, the OGAE Fan Vision Song Contest as well as the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza. In the last three events mentioned, she finished on the Top Three podium, with the songs being <a href="spotify:track:19KFHbokRYyG7XGrSOZO80" data-name="Minn Kajfas Għal Għand Pilatu">Minn Kajfas Għal Għand Pilatu</a>, 'A Million Voices' and 'Li Stajt Nagħżel Jien'.
At the beginning of 2020, she was asked to take part in the annual Spiteri Lucas Concert, performing a duet of 'Stupid Cupid' with <a href="spotify:artist:3taCZhKzatXiuObT9YZ9sK" data-name="Debbie Scerri">Debbie Scerri</a>, Malta's representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997, before making it to the finals of L-Għanja tal-Poplu, the beginning of a trio successive participations; in 2020 with <a href="spotify:track:7L230jIRDfzQhesxFUfRMw" data-name="Professuri">Professuri</a>, which she co-wrote with Emil Calleja Bayliss and Philip Vella; in 2021 with <a href="spotify:track:7nCL6RUDnLbtF1LjQXdr6M" data-name="Ħarstek">Ħarstek</a>, composed by Philip Vella and penned by Joe Julian Farrugia and in 2022 with <a href="spotify:track:3epo9XRfHm5LJvb4gRFbR2" data-name="Ħelu Manna">Ħelu Manna</a> together with the girl group <a href="spotify:artist:77fSSDKJQ7LaqdV5L1o0Sy" data-name="MARA">MARA</a>.
In between, she made the Malta Eurovision 2022 semifinal with <a href="spotify:track:5DiUWqowy8sQm01JDpr8Y0" data-name="White Doves">White Doves</a> written by Emil Calleja Bayliss, Ylva Persson, Linda Persson and Peter Frodin, a few months after releasing <a href="spotify:track:35zP92tJ6buBKvkFFT59zp" data-name="You & I">You & I</a>, a collaboration with DJ <a href="spotify:artist:0pTr82fUGhAoLHlTzJM7SI" data-name="Ryan Paul">Ryan Paul</a> which made Malta's Top 20. As 1/5 of MARA, a talented Rachel also made her debut in Mużika Mużika 2022 with <a href="spotify:track:0X4WCIZlXYQ5gwy28sUeaE" data-name="Aħjar Hekk Inkella Agħar">Aħjar Hekk Inkella Agħar</a>, following it up with 'Ir-Rota Tibqa' Ddur'.
