Rachel Mayer is a Philadelphia based musician with off kilter energy, romantic classical influence, and punk sensibility.
Piano teacher turned singer/songwriter, Rachel Mayer began livestreaming original music from her living room during the pandemic, catching the attention of friend and producer Rick Szybowski. They teamed up to release the piano and strings ballad 'Row of Doors' in December of 2020, featuring the Harvey String Duo. The following spring saw the release of pop single “Every Single Song". The latest song is Mayer's pop and blues hybrid, "Forgiven" released on September 9. Keep an eye on this original new voice.
