Racing Heart was formed in Brooklyn in 2010, the heart child of Mathias Hatleskog Tjønn, aided by friends and fellow musicians Justin Lee Keller and Kendall Duane Eddy. Two years later 'To Walk Beside that Ghost' was released on Movemountains Records, with drummer Anthony LaMarca from The War on Drugs and St. Vincent’s touring band joining them in the studio. In 2016 Racing Heart teamed up with Misra Records in Pittsburgh and finished their sophomore effort 'What Comes After', produced by Hanne Hukkelberg, featuring Jenny Hval on additional vocals and songwriting, with the creative drumming of Martin Langlie (Susanne Sundfør, Pantha du Prince) propelling it all forward.
