Radegunds are a four piece indie rock band from Cambridgeshire. The band was formed by songwriting duo, brothers Joe and Will Vallely, who were born and raised in Manchester and whose music reflects that of the great rock and indie bands from that area. At the start of the pandemic, while others were stockpiling household essentials, the Vallelys stockpiled dozens of tunes, riffs, scraps of melody, lyrical sketches, and song skeletons. Drafting in friends Tim and Callum on bass and drums as the lockdown eased, the four shaped these musical ideas together. Radegunds’ initial demos were first played by Tim Willett on Cambridge 105 Radio, and entered the New Music Generator hall of fame after staying on the NMG chart for the maximum duration of 20 consecutive weeks. After releasing their debut single “Catch The Crazy” in 2023 and the band have just released their second single “Rigged To Blow” on 24th May 2024.
