Radhika Dasi

Radhika Dasi is an India/ California based devotional singer that has dedicated her life to archiving, collecting and serving the ancient song heritage India. While growing up in the ashrams and temples - where kirtan and mantra yoga were a part of everyday life, she developed great interest in preserving the folk style of singing and the songs that have accompanied every rights of passage intended as worship, prayer, celebration. The rustic, folky elements of her singing combined with her Indian classical training give her a unique way of expressing both the longing and celebration within the realm of the heart- Through her music she wishes to inspire the protection of endangered arts and culture, encompassing their essence- the cultivation of love and beauty when expressed through song to the divine. Radhika has dedicated the last years of her life to diving into deep study of the esoteric temple arts under the guidance of her Gurus. She now teaches and shares her music internationally.
