Radiant Low emerged from the ashes of Radiant, returning with a new lineup and a more diverse sound. Blending reverb-soaked guitars, soaring synthesizers, intense vocals, and driving basslines, the band forges a distinctive blend of electronic rock and darkwave that defies easy categorization.
Originally formed in 2001 in Stockholm, Sweden, Radiant released several singles, an Ep and was featured on several compilation CDs. After a brief hiatus—marked by life changes, a pandemic, and shifting creative currents—the band reformed under the new name Radiant Low in 2022. Guitarist and producer Niklas Björklund (Mangoo, City Lungs, Magenta Skycode) and keyboardist Daniel Malmlöf (Octoberland, Destin Fragile, Black Orbs) joined founding members Lars Blomstrand (Nevskij Prospect, Operation Blue Eyes) and Theresa Hagberg, reshaping the band’s sonic direction.
