Radio Strange

Radio Strange is a post-grunge punk rock band from Zurich, Switzerland, formed in summer 2020. Guitar, Bass, Drum and vocals - it's as simple as that. Their music is loud, raw, distorted and honest. In other words - Rock'n'roll baby!


After several Swiss and Canadian alternative radio stations played their debut single <a href="spotify:album:3K1Lm8SXsTsU4vC82P3n4l" data-name="Masters Of The Past">Masters Of The Past</a>, the three toured around Switzerland in summer / autumn 2021.


During this period, they self-recorded, produced, mixed and mastered their debut album <a href="spotify:album:3pEtbuOD92dRhnbT3JyUce" data-name="Handmade Bastard">Handmade Bastard</a> which was well received and drew international attention in radios (like Swiss national radio SRF3), newspapers and music blogs. The release was followed by a national tour in autumn 2022 and two new singles <a href="spotify:track:0OZdX6UZi0Y11nah1NXgVA" data-name="Run Away">Run Away</a> and <a href="spotify:track:0MMTeLgLzhjXmDGCmPzxqQ" data-name="No Way">No Way</a>.


The band started to play with international artists, such as the great <a href="spotify:artist:7mnsWRY95TpZRGbiCh93Ob" data-name="Marco Mendoza">Marco Mendoza</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:6biWAmrHyiMkX49LkycGqQ" data-name="Thin Lizzy">Thin Lizzy</a>, Blue Murder, <a href="spotify:artist:3UbyYnvNIT5DFXU4WgiGpP" data-name="Whitesnake">Whitesnake</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:21ysNsPzHdqYN2fQ75ZswG" data-name="Ted Nugent">Ted Nugent</a>), <a href="spotify:artist:0ni4efINty9Pq60CoTQdz3" data-name="The Sensitives">The Sensitives</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2NDj8i2isAwlLIRGlNWsCh" data-name="Plainride">Plainride</a> and many more.


Besides all three members having families and full time jobs, they released their banger <a href="spotify:album:66k5mv7dV2aYkXRQNZWWQw" data-name="Sick Of It">Sick Of It</a> (2024), were on the road trough Switzerland and recorded and produced more tracks, which will be released in 2025.
