RADIOSILENCE

Born and raised from their hand-built rehearsal room called "De Hawk", RADIOSILENCE was formed from a shared passion for raw and energetic music. This led the four-piece band to create their own outlook on modern, heavy-guitar music by writing violently dynamic songs and performing vigorous live shows. Inspired by bands like While She Sleeps, Stray From The Path and Periphery, RADIOSILENCE fuse elements from progressive metal and hardcore punk.

To match the aggression of the instruments, the songs’ lyrics are rooted in a critical and honest reflection of the self and society, sung by lead vocalist/ rhythm guitarist Loran van Baardewijk. The instrumental parts are enriched by striking guitar riffs and solos by lead guitarist Martijn Emmen, while Edwin Vondermans fills the lower frequencies through his powerful basslines. As a finishing touch, the blasting beats by drummer Wouter Groenestein make the perfect amplifying fundament for the ferocious infusion of guitar sounds that characterise RADIOSILENCE.

Despite the current pandemic RADIOSILENCE are planning to steadily release new music in the coming future, which will represent a wide spectrum of different sounds and emotions.
