Raeja hails from Melbourne, Australia and has been singing and writing songs in English and Spanish since she was 15 years old. She grew up listening to the Jazz greats like Sarah Vaughn, Billy Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald as well as a lot of Mersey Beat, Rock, Motown, Northern Soul, Salsa and Merengue. She draws her inspiration from all these different genres. She writes with sincerity and passion about her experiences and observations of life and love in all its messy glory. Her soulful, dynamic vocals and music blend together neo soul, jazz, pop and Latin pop. She recently released her debut, self titled EP Raeja and will be back in the studio in 2026 to record a new single. Raeja has recently performed at several corporate launches in Adelaide and local painter Haythem Raslan's 2025 Sala exhibition.
