Rafaël Murillo's musical journey began with a fascination for the Steelpan, a melodic percussion instrument from Trinidad & Tobago. This early interest in unique sounds laid the foundation for his eclectic taste and artistic exploration. Drawing inspiration from all around the world within different genres, he has embraced a diverse range of influences that has shaped his creative path.

With a series of remarkable collaborations with esteemed labels like Subliminal, Strickly Rhythm, Freak’N’Chic, and Crosstown Rebels, he established himself as a rising artist on the Parisian electronic stage, Rafaël thrilled audiences as the founder of the "We Are Family" projects.

Rafaël's musical journey has been punctuated by significant milestones. His debut EP, "AkriliskA" released under Popcorn Record and remixed by Boris Brejcha, laid the foundation for a promising career. Subsequently, he signed his first vinyl, "Background feat. JAW", (Remixed by Alexkid) with the Spanish label La Vie en Rose, curated by Terrence Terry. Continuing his sonic explorations, he signed with another prestigious Spanish label Suruba Records, and delivered a series of captivating remixes.

Rafaël Murillo's story is one of a true musical adventurer. Once again, he has been taking his electrifying performances to festivals and clubs worldwide. Continuing his musical odyssey he is now working on releasing his latest track in collaboration with Yemanja Records. Stay tuned!
