Rafael “Raffa” Perez made his rap debut with Mr. Pimp-Lotion’s “Lotionbanden” in 2019. He appeared in 4 different tracks on Lotionbandens first album. He and long time friend Nino Durden, could be seen on several promo videos leading up to the Oslo concert where they broke open a safe on stage after performing on “Hva er i safen”. He has since then made several guest appearances on stage. Rafael Perez usually appears with some sort of disguise so not to reveal his true identity. It is unclear whether he is actually a police officer, a thug, neither, or both.
In 2019 Raffa started the underground record label “Forvaring Records” with his associate Nino Durden. Together with Nino and David Mack, they released yet another remix of "Møt meg i min hood” by Oral Bee and Mr. Pimp-Lotion. This time with homage to Røa, Holmlia & Mandal. Mr. Durden produced all of Raffa’s tracks in 2020 and 2021.
In 2020, Forvaring Records welcomed two new members, and longtime legends from Lotionbanden; Jon Krem & O.G. Milfolini. All of the members were featured on "Jon Krem’s "Ice X Krem" album. From that day Raffa has worked with Jon Krem on several projects, produced mainly by Big Ice from DPF. Semming aka T-SVG has also produced for Raffa and are responsible for most recordings/masterings within Forvaring Records.
Rafael Perez is working on his solo debut album, expected to be released during the spring of 2025. One of the tracks, called “Heads Up”, will be released on January 24, 2025.
