Rafeelya has been on the rise in the worldwide REGGAE scene since the year 1996 and, since moving to the UK from the USA, has moved in high circles in the industry. This has since led to working with top reggae producers at Stingray Records, Mellow Vibes, and working with Massive Artists like Blackout JA, Alpheus, Lloyd Brown.
One highlight of her fruitful career is winning Britain’s Got Reggae in 2017 which paved the way to play at Europe’s biggest Reggae and Dub festival ROTOTOM SUNSPLASH in 2018.
You can find her vocals on Blackout JA’s ‘Ghetto Girl’, Lloyd Brown’s Salute Album and The Therapy Album which released in March 2020. Along with her rendition of Michael Prophet’s ‘2000 Years’ on The Preppie Records Label.
He track We Cry won Song of the year in 2021 and 2022 has produced two great releases, Early Warm from Zigedub and Signal off the Bread of Life Riddim produced by JayJBorn2Sing.
