Ragged Flag Rich is Modern Outlaw Country created and written by Texas songwriter Ron Lyons.
Built out of Texas grit, outlaw-country attitude, Southern rock muscle, and American storytelling, Ragged Flag Rich is country music with dirt under its nails, blood in its knuckles, and a flag still flying in the storm.
Ron has been writing songs for more than 30 years, and every Ragged Flag Rich song and melody comes from that human songwriting foundation — real experiences, real beliefs, heartbreak, faith, freedom, small towns, hard living, and the people you never quite forget.
The sound lives somewhere between classic outlaw country and the harder edge of modern Texas country: steel guitar, fiddle, loud guitars, big choruses, and stories that still have something to say.
From patriotic songs like “Baby American” to heartbreak songs like “Dallas in the Morning,” Ragged Flag Rich is Ron Lyons’ music — made in Texas for people who still want country music to sound honest, independent, and a little dangerous.
This is not safe country.
