Rahel is an alternative R&B singer and songwriter based in New York. Rahel (full name: Rahel Haile) recorded in her spare time, then opted to give up a teaching job in order to pursue music. She debuted in 2014 with "Serve," an ambient ballad produced by <a href="spotify:artist:7vAIfI4M8jn4K1APzS15c5" data-name="The-Drum">The-Drum</a>'s Jeremiah Meece. The following February, spotify:search:label%3A%22Camp+%26+Street%22 made her debut album, Alkali, available for streaming on Soundcloud.
