Born to Cape Verdean parents in Portugal, Rahiz (formerly known as “Celso Opp”) quickly rose to fame. Mastering the ability to sing with the art of rapping, he has an extensive catalog of music that consists of Kizomba, Afrobeat, Reggae, and Hip Hop.
He has collaborated on various projects with artists such as: Konshens, MOP, Matt Houston, DJ Yves larock, Kaysha, Lord Kossity and many others.
Rahiz has been internationally recognized for his contributions to the music industry.
He has won the African Entertainment Award (2016), nominated 3 times for the Cape Verde Music Awards, named one of Powerlist’s top 100 influencers in Lusophone (Portuguese speaking) countries, to name a few.
