Rahki is a Grammy Award-Winning producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose career bridges Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B, and Folk. Early in his career he co-wrote "Won't Back Down" from <a href="spotify:artist:7dGJo4pcD2V6oG8kP0tJRR" data-name="Eminem">Eminem</a>’s Recovery album featuring <a href="spotify:artist:1KCSPY1glIKqW2TotWuXOR" data-name="P!nk">P!nk</a> produced by his mentor <a href="spotify:artist:7zfaArteqSs8YgCCmPrDK4" data-name="DJ Khalil">DJ Khalil</a>.
He later collaborated with <a href="spotify:artist:2YZyLoL8N0Wb9xBt1NhZWg" data-name="Kendrick Lamar">Kendrick Lamar</a> producing Black Boy Fly on good kid, m.A.A.d city. He continued that collaboration on To Pimp a Butterfly producing "Institutionalized," feat <a href="spotify:artist:7hJcb9fa4alzcOq3EaNPoG" data-name="Snoop Dogg">Snoop Dogg</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4jCbgl5Dmt3uOh8WRQfpPs" data-name="Bilal">Bilal</a> . He also produced and co-write "i," the lead single from To Pimp a Butterfly, earning his first official Grammy win.
As a drummer, Rahki has also won Grammy Awards and received nominations for his work on major records, playing drums on Gravity by <a href="spotify:artist:1CFCsEqKrCyvAFKOATQHiW" data-name="Lecrae">Lecrae</a> , The Man by <a href="spotify:artist:0id62QV2SZZfvBn9xpmuCl" data-name="Aloe Blacc">Aloe Blacc</a> and Ricky by <a href="spotify:artist:0NbfKEOTQCcwd6o7wSDOHI" data-name="The Game">The Game</a>.
In 2018, he discovered and developed his first artist <a href="spotify:artist:11dABkjSoOjcP9p3TFSNRj" data-name="Jensen McRae">Jensen McRae</a>, producing her debut album "Are You Happy Now?." The project marked the first full album he produced for an artist and helped establish Mcrae as a rising voice.
Over the years he has worked fluidly across genres, collaborating with artist including <a href="spotify:artist:1CoZyIx7UvdxT5c8UkMzHd" data-name="Jorja Smith">Jorja Smith</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:67MNhiAICFY6Pwc2YxCO0K" data-name="Elley Duhé">Elley Duhé</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:2P5sC9cVZDToPxyomzF1UH" data-name="Joey Bada$$">Joey Bada$$</a> just to name a few.
Rahki has since entered a new era with U Ugly, a self-written and produced visual EP that merges music, film and narrative.
