Raine

Raine is a young, immensely talented artist who owes his career to a touch of out-of-this-world poetry. He has a remarkable way with words and demonstrates compositions that are soothing to the soul, and feel like therapy to the mind of a music lover. 

Raine took after his father, a poet, and began writing poems of his own in middle school. At first, it was only for fun, but it eventually became a way of coping with his pain. By then, he was fourteen and experiencing things he shouldn’t have been. He felt as if no one understood him, let alone his heartache. 

With time, the poems Raine would write turned into written “freestyles,” and one day a close friend of his convinced him to post a minute-long clip of one of his freestyles on Instagram. The love he received under this post was encouraging and gave him the confidence he needed to continue sharing his art with the world. A year later, in September of 2019, he released his first single “Eventually.” 

Raine draws inspiration from artists such as J. Cole, Drake, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and Lil Baby, among others. He aims to travel the world, sharing his alluring music while relating to the masses. Raine also seeks to build an engaged community and provide for his family and friends while creating the music he loves – timeless music.
