Raised Threshold emerged from the Bay Area's vibrant music scene in 2007, crafting a distinctive blend of post-hardcore rock that echoed the pulse of their surroundings.
The band's inception stemmed from the collective creativity of the Ehlert brothers, Will and Kris, alongside Chris Lopez, Phil Rodgers, and Jerome Mathew, who forged a bond fueled by their shared passion for music.
In 2010, they released a self-produced album, "Half a Page Written, Half a Page Read," that led them to tour the West Coast.
Through subsequent shifts in their lineup, the band found its continued stride when Chris Lopez's sister, Danica Lopez, joined as the bassist, infusing a new dynamic into their sonic and live delivery.
However, life changes among the band members led to a turning point. After carving out a space in the music scene, Raised Threshold unexpectedly entered an indefinite hiatus in 2014.
Despite their hiatus, their creative spirit endured. In late 2023, the band surprised their devoted followers with the long-awaited release of two unreleased singles, "Destroy You" and "The Change (Fury & Pain)." These tracks served as a testament to their enduring creativity and a testament to the unyielding passion that defined Raised Threshold.
