Ramiele Malubay is widely known for successfully becoming an American Idol Top 10 Finalist (Season 7). Being recognized for her strong vocals and her vibrant personality, she quickly gained a global fanbase especially with the Filipino community.
Originally from Miramar, Florida, Ramiele started singing at an early age and performed regularly in her hometown community at festivals, concerts, and church events. Some of her musical influences include Aretha Franklin, Jackson 5, Mariah Carey, and Lani Misalucha.
In 2007, Ramiele Malubay auditioned for American Idol launching her professional music career. Shortly after Season 7’s telecast, Ramiele joined the American Idols Live! Tour in 2008. The 49-city and 53-concert tour became the 24th biggest grossing tour on Billboard’s 2008 Year-End Music Charts. Ramiele continued to tour in her home country, the Philippines for several concerts.
Ramiele has appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Live! With Regis and Kelly and several media platforms. Ramiele has also performed the US National Anthem at World Welterweight champion, Manny Pacquiao's fight against Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After several years of touring, Ramiele returned to Florida to finish college, a personal goal that was put on hold. Since graduating Ramiele has returned to the recording studio, to write original music. Her new music is anticipated for release in 2021.
