Hello! I am Ramius, a new independent music artist from Manila. I write and produce my music in my own simple space.
My parents named me "Ramius" after a character in a 90s movie, "The Hunt for Red October." It's a movie about submarines, the Cold War, and other relevant stuff. So if you are into that kind of stuff, I recommend giving it a try.
Anyway, my parents love movies and I inherited their love for a good story. That's why I write my own music - to tell good stories.
Now, this idea is nowhere near original nor revolutionary. But what makes mine unique is the source of these stories. A lot of my music came from self-reflections, interactions from friends, observations from the changing times, or even some random thought I had when I can't sleep. I use these inspirations to write a melody or words that will best describe how a certain time feels to me.
Currently, "Bintana" and "Pinto" are the only songs in my catalog, but I plan to release more soon. I hope that you find beauty in my compositions. I hope that you enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed making them. And I pray that the music I make give a positive impact to your life as it did to mine.
