Random, born Mugerangabo David, is a rapper/songwriter based in Rwanda making music mainly in Hip Hop/Rap and Alternative Rap.
After making critically acclaimed singles namely ‘DAWN’ and ‘Throwback’, he has lately released his latest banger featuring a guest verse from Skid, titled ‘Glimpse’.
Glimpse was released as the first sight of what he has been working on lately with his music group, PURPLETAPE.
PURPLETAPE is a music group made of five music prospects including Random, two music producers namely ‘THE NORTHGODS’, one supporting songwriter and their music publisher. They obtained their name from their debut EP projected to release anytime this year that has been in the making since the start of 2020.
Random is also working on another collaboration project with a record producer ‘Terry’ that is also projected to come out this summer.
