My music does not include Fathers Business or Perfect Stranger. These are mistakenly placed on my profile.
I grew up in Portland Oregon, where my love for music began. During the early years I was fortunate to have the opportunity to team up with extremely talented Ronald J. Lorts and formed a group called "Country Blue". We were all over playing at parties, dances, radio, television and did the Red Lion Hotel circuit.
In time Ron joined the military and I served as a missionary for my church. While in South Korea, I was fortunate to be asked to put together a music group to be a PR tool. The group became known as the "New Horizon". We quickly became popular among young and old. So much so that we could barely keep up with TV and radio performance requests. And when we teamed up with a group of extremely talented young ladies called "The Tender Apples" we were complete! Touring the country and recording several albums we were exhausted. Did this for two years and when I returned my life was filled with the presence of six awesome kids, singing solo at local locations and recording an album of original songs called "Coming Home". I love the simplicity and I hope you will too..
Note: somehow Spotify has combined the work of another person named Randy Davenport with my profile. He has a beard, I don't. He has longer brown hair, mine is shorter and now white. Am working on separating but have had no success.
