Randy Esen

Randy Esen was born in NYC and began her performance career in Boston in the 80&#39;s. She joined forces with the internationally acclaimed pianist/composer <a href="spotify:artist:5d2ELce6mexNUL2aJMO27F" data-name="Aydın Esen">Aydın Esen</a> whom she married in 1987, and has been performing and recording with ever since, as well as writing lyrics for many of his compositions. In 2019 Randy released her first recording, Behind the Light and Shine (A.K Müzik) featuring <a href="spotify:artist:5d2ELce6mexNUL2aJMO27F" data-name="Aydın Esen">Aydın Esen</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4EHbi348R869slanDeSQiF" data-name="Ra-Kalam Bob Moses">Ra-Kalam Bob Moses</a>. In recent years Randy has been performing her original compositions with <a href="spotify:artist:3WUfnyvV4MgSpwU0JYaekd" data-name="Kerem Can Dündar">Kerem Can Dündar</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3PWZ0cUSuhr8EhdM4xU8v5" data-name="Cenk Esen">Cenk Esen</a> joined by <a href="spotify:artist:0OH1sYzaDZe08cmwb2ElwM" data-name="Jasper Williamson">Jasper Williamson</a>, culminating in her new EP &#39;Not Alone&#39; produced by <a href="spotify:artist:3PWZ0cUSuhr8EhdM4xU8v5" data-name="Cenk Esen">Cenk Esen</a> and featuring artists including <a href="spotify:artist:4329Rqrv9R9wc832cqQCVv" data-name="Elif Çağlar">Elif Çağlar</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5ZvhKqku2nxAO5tDDBFGpQ" data-name="Dila Bahar">Dila Bahar</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4BXTzqOu0u9zHMafvY5pUN" data-name="İmer Demirer">İmer Demirer</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1GyfNm3xj64IZR4rKnzNti" data-name="Şam">Şam</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5EM3r7Q75BR9DNqs0K2SuR" data-name="Çağıl Kaya">Çağıl Kaya</a>.

Randy currently lives in Istanbul, Turkey with her husband and has been teaching and performing there for 25 plus years. Her sons Cenk and <a href="spotify:artist:64PBWe9foMWApzOxPlG03e" data-name="Aykan Esen">Aykan Esen</a>, both musicians, live in London.
