Newport, Rhode Island based singer/songwriter.

Born and raised in South Jersey, Randy Robbins has been living the dream down by the sea as a seasoned professional gigging musician, song interpreter, & social justice advocate for more than a decade now. His debut album released in 2009, Shades of Red, is available on Spotify, and all of your popular online outlets.

In the years since that release, while he was off working on his craft, studying human behavior, experimenting with opening his mind to new styles of music and new ways of writing, yes, in those years, several others, who bear no resemblance nor relation, have released their own musical efforts to Spotify, under the same name as his own! *Gasp* He didn't know such others existed! Kudos to all of you Randy Robbins'sss!

Having said all that, it appears that this Randy Robbins has decided to follow up his original 2009 release of Shades of Red a decade later with a 2019 release of a four song EP titled, The Take.

A song suite all tied together, The Take features a new arrangement of the song, 'Holiday', (previously only available as a solo acoustic track on his aforementioned 2009 release), as well as three new previously unavailable songs, including 'Home' & 'Berning Pavement' (both feat Radios Islands, with Joe Krapf on drums, Fritz Drayton on bass, and Chris Hoffman on lead guitar), and the album's centerpiece piano ballad, 'Why Time Why? (Sweet Thing Die)'.
