RANK (which can be translated as “stand up straight”) is the soloproject of the Danish singer-songwriter Vibeke Mark-Hansen based in Roskilde, Denmark. In 2023 she released her debut EP “Hvis Jeg Gik Til Yoga” (If I Went To Yoga).
On 16 June 2025 her new EP “Vælter Kaffen” (Spilling The Coffee) will be released and is RANK's take on songs with happy endings. About setting yourself free and not setting traps for yourself. About not listening to all the thoughts that make you feel small, but instead reaching up, going out into the sun and hugging a tree. And that it's okay to ask for help and seek community.
The alluring lyrics are the centre-piece of the music along with her surprising and minimalistic piano playing.
On the both EP’s RANK has collaborated with producer Rasmus Glendorf (Tobias Trier, Nana Jacobi).
