Born and bred in Dublin Ireland, Rannóg (pronounced “Ran-ogue” meaning ‘section' in Gaelic) is a vocalist, songwriter and musician that blends ethereal vocals and spritely acoustics to create a style of music that resides somewhere between alternative indie, folk, and shoegaze.
Although currently based just outside Washington DC, Rannóg's most recent EP "Biome" was produced and recorded in south Dublin. The EP layers moody synths with sharp lyrics, often with a nod back to the experience of growing up in Dublin town.
