Even if its name is prominently featured on its various releases, Rapeton Approved is not exactly an artist, but rather an artist development venture with the mission of scouting emerging Latin urban talent. Its figureheads are Puerto Rican reggaeton icon <a href="spotify:artist:0eHQ9o50hj6ZDNBt6Ys1sD">Yandel</a> and A&R executive Ángel "El Guru" Vega -- the original creator of the popular Rapeton website and media brand. Artists submit their material to the agency's website and, if chosen, their releases will bear the Rapeton Approved endorsement and benefit from its brand marketing across all platforms. Since 2023, the agency has had a distribution deal with <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Warner+Music+Latina%22">Warner Music Latina</a>.
