Raquel

Raquel is a Canadian artist, pianist, model, and singer-songwriter of Egyptian, Portuguese, and Trinidadian decent. Blending pop, electronic, and R&B; her unique sound brings a new energy and a distinct voice to the music-world. With professional training in competitive piano, singing, and dance starting at the age of 4, she is no stranger to the arts. Drawing from diverse influences, Raquel often sings of love, empowerment, girl-boss vibes, and the universe; a nod to her academic background in Astrophysics.

Within just a year and a half of her artist debut, Raquel has opened for R&B singer Eric Bellinger’s The Rebirth Tour, and collaborated with artists such as Kofi , TVGUCCI , 11:11 , Smiley , SadBoi , Jaegen, and Luna Elle. Her debut September 2023 Jersey Club track, “Angel”, featuring Kofi, marked the beginning of her artistry as a singer-songwriter, gaining her the recognition from outlets such as Complex Canada, Rolling Stone UK, Much Music, and iHeart Radio, amoungst others.

Raquel’s latest release, pop/dance track LA LA LA with NLE Choppa, marks the beginning of her 2nd EP. Looking ahead in 2025, she is set to release further collaborations, expand her original piano series, “Sessions With Raquel”, live perform, and more. Her blend of versatility, songwriting, presence, and unique vocals set Raquel apart as one of the industry’s next Canadian stars.
