Bedroom pop singer/songwriter Raquela Berakiki gained attention as a multi-instrumentalist, playing the guitar, ukulele & harmonica when they first performed on a Songwriter's Night at Conspiracy Garden Café in Quezon City. In late 2018, they released their debut single, "u, calicanto & me", which received a lot of streams in its first week of release. The song is produced by Otep Mojares & Kesniel Pastor under Berakiki’s own label Pasagursur Records. Soon, Berakiki released their debut record titled "ba•ba•yu" (a funny way of saying bye, bye, you), a collection of songs recorded on her old iPod & secondhand iPhone 4s during quarantine. They conceptualized the record with the help of her three friends (Nadine de los Santos, Pola Torino, and Tee Kaalim) which they referred to as Quarantols. It is simply about letting go of the old high school shit, forgiveness & acceptance. Last 2021, they celebrated the 10th anniversary of their very first bedroom pop record titled "Shuki pie forever". It's a collection of songs written in their early 20s. It's all about the desperate stuff, finding love, and craving affection. On February 28, 2023, they released an EP titled “Lip tint”, which is inspired by the post-pandemic life. Last year, they released a new EP, "pa-girl", with "luh, may boypren ako!" as the carrier single. This year, Berakiki is going to release a new full length album sometime in November.
