Dutch-American rapper and singer Rarri left the Netherlands in 2018 and moved to Southern California — a transition that transformed his entire sound. In Los Angeles, he found himself in the center of the culture, collaborating with major artists like Trippie Redd, PnB Rock, Drakeo the Ruler, Tory Lanez, and more. The energy, the influences, and the fast pace of the LA music scene pushed him far beyond the sound he grew up hearing back home in the Netherlands.

What came out of that evolution is a fusion no Dutch artist has truly mastered before — a blend of American rap culture, West Coast flavor, and Dutch language delivered through Rarri’s own self-produced beats. This journey now takes shape in his upcoming project, American Boy, dropping in early 2026. The album includes international collaborations from major U.S. artists, and possibly even a few from the Netherlands, merging both sides of his identity.

For the Netherlands, this isn’t just another album — With nearly a third of his life spent in California and two impactful years in Miami, Florida, Rarri’s sound has been shaped in a major way by both places.

Rarri also has a profound love for the Netherlands and the people there, as he grew up in the country, and this new album is a gift to them for their support and for helping him realize his dreams
