RAS REBEL BIO:
Jamaican / Irish born Ras Rebel is an international must-see artist, singing original reggae music keeping to the traditions of classic reggae by coupling conscious lyrics with hard-hitting rhythms, while also bringing forth an unprecedented mix of dancehall, rub-a-dub, and roots reggae with hip-hop overtones influence by his urban roots.
Ras Rebel has a unique ability to connect with all people, no matter where he is performing, largely because of his explosive stage performance & diverse positive music which resonates with people worldwide. Ras Rebel has engaged crowds throughout California, Jamaica, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, New York, Atlanta, U.S. Virgin Islands and Mexico, and has also made fans in Japan, Korea, Sweden and Australia.
Ras Rebel has been blessed to share the stage with Grammy Award winning acts, including: Damian Marley, Stevie Wonder, Mykal Rose (of Black Uhuru), The Wailers, Cypress Hill, Steel Pulse, Gregory Isaacs, Third World, and Yellowman.
In addition to performing, Ras Rebel has appeared on television with Damian Marley at the 3rd Annual Vibe Awards in Hollywood Ca. Ras Rebel has performed on the 2016 Welcome to JamRock Reggae Cruise (hosted by the Marley’s) alongside the legendary dancehall reggae/hip-hop pioneer Shinehead backed by Grammy Award winning saxophone player Dean Frasier & The Black Soil Band.
