Ratéo (Ruh-Tay-Oh) makes aggressive, loud, pumped up rap music that gives people energy. He is a rapper born in Philadelphia PA, he grew up in North East Philadelphia until he was 13 when he moved and found a new group of people who would lead him on to start creating music.
His first ever mixtape ‘First & Foremost’ is what kicked off his career in 2025 as an artist. He also made songs with his friends and other singles such as ‘17’ with CHRIS THE INVENTOR, RAW, and Law of Attraction. After his ‘First & Foremost’ Era he decided he wants to go a different direction with his music and to change up his style to attract diversity and versatility into his catalogue even when most of his music is purely rap based.
He created another project called GODSTAR which was supposed to be a bit different from ‘First & Foremost’ and was supposed to show the hype and the energy in Ratéo’s music with songs like ARKEUS and BAD WORD FREESTYLE. He collaborated with other underground artists such as CHRIS THE INVENTOR (Again), and WIFIVIX.
In October 2025, Ratéo started to receive some buzz for creating a new horror trend on TikTok about the famous horror icon Pennywise from ‘IT’. This trend he started created his first successful song “Dead 2 Me” which currently has over 10,000 streams and gained Ratéo over 2000 monthly listeners in just a few weeks. This trend was so popular on TikTok that people started calling “Dead 2 Me” Pennywise’s theme song.
