Brooklyn Hip-Hop Producer • DJ • Audio Engineer - Rick "Raticus" aka Ric Rat. Released his first project in 1995 under the crew name "Da Shaup Productions". Worked as an recording engineer at the legendary 78/88 studios in Queens NY for several years, and then opened up The Rat Cavern Studios.

Worked with and produced for several Hip Hop artists including Lace Da Booms, D.V. Alias Khrist, FT Street Smartz, Sean Price, DJ JS-ONE, DJ Doom, DJ Spinna, Kil Ripkin, Torae, Vast Aire, Ruste Juxx, Guilty Simpson, al.divino, Mooch, M.A.V., Dro Pesci, Planet Asia, Blaq Poet, Skyzoo, Rim Da Villin, ETO, Milano Constantine, REKS, Big Twins, Boog Brown, Bare Da Savage, Rob Hustle.

In 2016 with the opening of Tenement Music, he released <a href="spotify:album:40NleyXwIfCA5r9iLDAAyT" data-name="The Heir Vast">The Heir Vast</a> featuring Vast Aire of Cannibal Ox to great success. Raticus continues to be a contributor to hiphop culture, normally producing multiple albums a year.
