Rattlesnake is a rock n’ roll band from the small town of Notodden, Norway- a town renowned for its rich ties to the blues and americana music. The band combines gritty guitar tones, bluesy grooves and high-energy rock n’ roll. Inspired by bands like <a href="spotify:artist:0cc6vw3VN8YlIcvr1v7tBL" data-name="Mötley Crüe">Mötley Crüe</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7HL4id2U7FSDJtfKQHMgQx" data-name="Cinderella">Cinderella</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:49DW3KvkyjHO35mK1JnSyS" data-name="The Cult">The Cult</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4kmChp6OaS0xAvpxWetEg4" data-name="Backstreet Girls">Backstreet Girls</a>, Rattlesnake creates riff-driven rock n’ roll music built for the stage.
The band originally started playing together in middle school, when Even (lead guitar) wanted a band to perform with at a school show. This later evolved into everyday rehearsals, later turning into weekly rehearsals. A year after they started playing together, the band, then called “Pythons”, got a mail from Notodden Bluesfestival wanting them to perform. They have performed at the festival every year since.
On may 29th 2026, the band released their debut single, Midnight Ride.
