... as the friendly punk warden recommends - Ratzebutz is back!
Once upon a time a Rockband opened their concerts based on a slogan for a pain pill with the following announcement: "... we don't know what the friendly punk warden recommends, we recommend Ratzebutz".
What followed was hard, fast, melodic and funny and was the right recommendation for fans of Punkrock, New Wave and the Neue Deutsche Welle.
The Saulgauer Ratzebutz were the local Punkrock size at the beginning of the 80s and played on small and large stages from Lake Constance to the state capital.
After the musicians went in all directions, the band was disbanded in the mid-80s.
Now Ratzebutz is back and plays in its original line-up with Werner Schönberger (vocals, programming, drums), Markus Weiß (guitar, vocals) and Oliver Strohm (guitar).
The band has been heavily active since the 'Rethinking' in 2014, dusting off old material, rearranging it and also composing and recording new songs.
Ratzebutz only plays original compositions, mainly in German, partly in English
