Rues vides, visages camouflés : en tournant son nouveau clip Métamorphoses, avec le réalisateur Jérémy Vissio (<a href="spotify:artist:6e3pZKXUxrPfnUPJ960Hd9" data-name="Pomme">Pomme</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2qFFIxab2pzuA2N09oWki3" data-name="Hollydays">Hollydays</a>, ...) le groupe Ravages ne pensait pas que le futur le rattraperait si vite. Il faut dire que Simon Beaudoux (chant) et Martin Chourrout (production) sont deux passionnés d&#39;œuvres d&#39;anticipation ; leur duo pop électronique tire son nom – à un S près – d&#39;un roman de science-fiction de René Barjavel.

Après plusieurs années à sillonner l&#39;Europe avec <a href="spotify:artist:4x1cLsIXGk0UN4RMtMtgJb" data-name="Exsonvaldes">Exsonvaldes</a>, les deux musiciens nous embarquent cette fois dans une odyssée rétro-futuriste-pop-moderne, où les vagues de synthé s&#39;entremêlent aux mélodies douces-amères, évoquant tour à tour <a href="spotify:artist:0yNLKJebCb8Aueb54LYya3" data-name="New Order">New Order</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:066X20Nz7iquqkkCW6Jxy6" data-name="LCD Soundsystem">LCD Soundsystem</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1xU878Z1QtBldR7ru9owdU" data-name="Phoenix">Phoenix</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:01C9OoXDvCKkGcf735Tcfo" data-name="Serge Gainsbourg">Serge Gainsbourg</a> ou <a href="spotify:artist:5STTEE3TlZg9gb3xNC4RHF" data-name="Malik Djoudi">Malik Djoudi</a>.

Dans le sillage de leur EP « <a href="spotify:album:2LDaQTM7zF9lrpW5QdwCFV" data-name="Renaissance">Renaissance</a> », ils préparent actuellement un premier album, où le duo – diplômé de Polytechnique et en Intelligence Artificielle – explore l&#39;époque où progrès technique rimait avec fascination et utopie. Comment ne pas en être nostalgique, à l&#39;heure de la pandémie et de la surveillance de masse ?
