What is real? Do you know what real means? Always curious and questioning everything, Raven Lunis' music ventures into the depths of a world behind the mirror, embracing feelings and sights which are not always welcome.

Raven Lunis has been “officially” expressing moments of personal catharsis through her music since 2018. Through her lyrics and melodies, she invites the listeners to embrace their inner shadows, moving through visceral emotions, and reaching the essence of all that is avoided in our interpersonal relationships.

In addition to the release of 4 singles and 3 EPs, Raven Lunis' recently released first album "Midnight Butterflies" comes as an effort to blur the boundaries of reality even more deeply, with 13 songs working independently from each other, and as part of a larger story. In the end, the listener might be left wondering if the stories are based in reality or not.

This time, she is joined by NØYSI bandmates, Caio and Clara, along with Taste The Lemon’s Tereza Karásková, Ladies’ First Josy Branco, and Marcos Rocha, who all helped her shape and give voice to some of the characters in the songs, making this album a collective endeavour.

"Midnight Butterflies" is a journey through feelings of isolation, loneliness and disconnection, expressed through a mix of goth and alt rock sound, while softer tunes on the album showcase vulnerability, revealing the true purpose of this journey: the search for “the real thing”.
