A mix breed between golden era hip hop, and new age rap, Dallas artist Raw Elementz garnered major online attention via being featured on a popular Kendrick Lamar fan site in 2011. At the time, the fan site was more popular than the official TDE website, and the owner of the site uploaded Raw’s first mixtape “Music from the Sole”.
