Raw In Sect

Raw In Sect was a Greek metal/rock act that released three full length albums, “Red Flows” (2011), “Blue Haze” (2014) and Kitro (2018). Possessed by a diverse, surprising and totally unique sound as described by fans and press, RIS did several tours performing all over Europe which gained them a loyal fan base as well as recognition as one of the most deserving bands to rise from the underground scene.

After the first tours of the “Red Flows” touring era ended, they went on to record “Blue Haze” which was presented with a 7 minute animation video epic for the self titled song. The effort was praised by fans and members of artistic communities and was followed by a very long touring schedule including over 150 concerts in venues and festivals in Central Europe, UK, Benelux, France, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

2017 found the Greeks releasing their first video single for their last record “Kitro”. The song “Therion” received over 100,000 views on YouTube and over 150,000 on Spotify. RIS was featured on Metal Hammer UK among other major music media outlets which led to their last European tour.

Despite their rising recognition, the founder, frontman and main songwriter of Raw In Sect, Kostas Diamandis broke up the band in 2019 due to the lack of common goals, moving on to pursue a solo career.
